For quite some time, I've freed myself of caring about other people's assessments and judgments. A person can not be truly free if he or she became a slave to the perspectives and expectations of others. You have the full right to reject and oppose my thoughts and my views but you do not have the slightest right to prevent me from talking and living them.
Have you ever looked at a person, and impressed by their outer appearance that seemed completely so perfect? You thought they might be the happiest person ever. They have a beautifully shaped figure, a strong and confident attitude, a warm face .. and you think he or she must be totally happy.
Have you taken a glimpse into this person's internal, personal, and private life? Have you thought if they had some unpleasant, uncomfortable, or painful experience like other people. Appearances sometimes deceive us. Don't judge a book by its cover. It's a bad habit. Imperfection is human, perfection is divine! Thank the Creator that you are still alive. Admire only your own life and if it isn't admirable, just go make it so. No one is perfect. Not you, neither others. |
